French rising star Solma is set to take over the decks at Refractor with one of his signature DJ sets 🌀

Solma channels the hypnotic pulse of deep techno and the raw energy of UK bass into a sound that feels both ancient and futuristic—a psychedelic blend shaped by intricate sound design and fearless genre fusion. Based in Paris and co-founder of Virtual Forest Records, his music moves between worlds, inviting listeners into immersive states of rhythm and trance. Each DJ set is an open-ended journey—an extension of his producer’s vision—where experimentation and movement collide on the dance floor. In 2025, he released his debut album The Consciousness of Plants on Organic Signs, a 9-track exploration of texture, halftime, DnB, and tribal echoes. His work also has found a home on labels like Crescent London, Hess Publica, Osmura, and Hypnus Records, where his original productions were featured in the acclaimed Memoir series.  From clubs to forests, festivals to airwaves, Solma has left his mark on spaces like Positive Education, Razzmatazz, Rinse FR, and La Vallée Électrique—each set a ritual, each rhythm a thread into the unknown.
