Emilia Grima


The presence of Emilia Grima, one of our residents and a key member of the Organic Signs family, is truly indispensable.

Her sets are a fusion of fast-paced broken rhythms, polyrhythmic structures, and elements of IDM, bass, jungle, dub, and experimental drum and bass, always maintaining a strong focus on atmosphere and percussion. In recent months, she has performed at venues such as Garage Noord (Amsterdam), Hutte In The Forest (France), and Human Razzmatazz (Barcelona), as well as appearing on radio platforms like Egregore (Toulouse), Operator (Rotterdam), and Gimic (Brussels).  Emilia is also the label manager of 95 Open Tabs, a record label, platform, and mix series dedicated to the broad spectrum of bass music, with a particular emphasis on sound design and psychedelic textures. The label has released music from artists such as Herbalistek, RM Estali, and Andrae Durden.

She is also part of Convoluted Mental Mirror, a duo project with Jan Swam. Under this alias, they craft immersive sets that blend intricate percussive elements, creating deep and dynamic sonic explorations.
