DalidaCarnage (arp concert)

DalidaCarnage will lead the opening ceremony of Refractor 2025 with a very special harp performance.

DalidaCarnage is the alter ego of Paola Avilés, a classical, experimental, and electroacoustic harpist who, in her quest to explore the darker and more enigmatic sides of music, ventured into mixing and music production. Her work spans a variety of styles, including bass music, break, drum and bass, deep, trip-hop, experimental, and ambient.  She is a resident artist at Radio Flouka, where she hosts her show Sueno Fantasmas, a series of mixes that blend ambient, experimental, break, and trip-hop music, often accompanied by literary narrations. In addition to her solo work, she is part of the duo Malesa, alongside Trois-Quarts Taxi System. In 2024, they released their debut album, which fuses bass music, trip-hop, and Spanish poetry. She has also participated in various collaborations and compilations, such as the track “Blue Sediment”, created with Slow83 and released on the General Merchant compilation or Nyx, released on De la... je l’espère. Her artistic approach focuses on crafting sonic landscapes that invite introspection and the exploration of deep emotions, using the harp and electronic elements to weave unique musical textures.
