DJ Josko

From the acid raves and pirate radio waves of the ’90s to the immersive realms of psychedelic festivals like Ozora, Modem, Boom, and Frequenza, Giorgio Gatti — aka Josko — has spent over two decades exploring the emotional and hypnotic depths of electronic music.

His journey began in 1991 through an underground Italian radio station broadcasting techno pioneers like Jeff Mills and UR, sparking a lifelong devotion to turntablism and sonic exploration. Josko’s sets are a fusion of deep techno, dub, psychedelia, and sci-fi textures, unbound by trends and guided by emotion and atmosphere.

Known for crafting tripped-out, groove-driven journeys that transcend the dancefloor, Josko approaches DJing as an alchemical process — creating a symbiosis of sound that touches both body and mind. His contributions go beyond performance, having helped shape the alternative stages of major festivals and foster new sonic directions within the scene.
