Emilia Grima is a visual artist and DJ from Gijón, Asturias.
Her sets are a confluence of fast-paced broken rhythms, polyrhythmic structures, and elements of IDM, bass, jungle, industrial dub, swampy techno, and experimental drum and bass, always with a strong focus on atmospheres and percussion.
In recent months, she has performed at venues such as Garage Noord (Amsterdam), Hutte In The Forest (France), and Human Razzmatazz (Barcelona). She has also been featured on radio stations like Egregore (Toulouse), Operator (Rotterdam), and Gimic (Brussels).
Emilia is the label manager of 95 Open Tabs, a record label, platform, and mix series. The label is focused on the entire bass music spectrum, with a special interest in sound design and psychedelic textures. 95 Open Tabs has released music from artists such as RM Estali, Herbalistek, and Andrae Durden.
She is also part of Convoluted Mental Mirror alongside Jan Swam. Under this alias, they craft immersive sets, blending complex percussive elements in a hypnotic flow, creating a deep and absorbing sonic experience.
